White in color, with a smooth and supple texture, it has a sweet, buttermilk and compact flavor. Available in both its classic oval form or in its braided form, smaller compared to the Typical Mediterranean Mozzarella, it is packaged in brine in order to longer maintain its freshness and serosity. It differs from other Abbasciano mozzarellas due to its particular tenderness.
This product contains a low amount of salt. Given the peculiar structure of the product, salt can be added before eating it.
